The Fun Part of Getting Ready
Textbooks, meal plans, parking passes. Nobody needs help remembering those.
The part people actually look forward to is building out the wardrobe. And if you're heading to TAMU for the first time, or coming back after a summer away, getting your Aggie gear together is the part that makes it feel real. We carry the highest quality, officially licensed Texas A&M apparel with exclusive styles you won't find anywhere else.
First Time Aggie?
If this is your first fall in College Station, there are a few things you're going to need right away. A maroon tee. A good hat. Something to wear to your first game at Kyle Field. It adds up fast, and it's easy to forget something when you're in the middle of move-in chaos.
We put together a freshman checklist so you don't have to figure it out from scratch. It covers the essentials, the gameday staples, and the pieces that are going to get the most wear your first year. Start there.
Returning Aggies
If you've done this before, you know the drill. But every fall we bring in new styles and seasonal drops that are worth a look before you head back.
Browse the back-to-school collection for what's new this season. Whether you're restocking the basics or adding something fresh, it's a good place to start.
Gameday Is Its Own Category
If you've never been to a game at Kyle Field, just wait. Over 100,000 people in maroon. The Aggie War Hymn. The 12th Man (entire student body) standing the entire game. It's a lot of buzzing, exciting energy
You need the right outfit for that. A good rule of thumb in the South: jersey & boots; the details take care of themselves. But might I add we have accessory galore if you need help; come in-store and one of our stylists can help build the best gameday fit.
Don't Forget the Layers
College Station in September still feels like summer. By November it's a different story.
And even before then, those AC classrooms will have you wishing you brought something to throw on.
That's where our mocknecks come in. They're lightweight enough to carry around campus but warm enough for a freezing lecture hall, and they layer really well under a hoodie when it actually gets cold outside. A good mockneck, pullover, or crewneck is something you'll reach for constantly between classes, at the library, or on the way to an early morning tailgate. Get at least one you love.
Make Your Space Feel Like Home
A dorm room doesn't feel like home until there's some Aggie stuff in it. A flag on the wall, a maroon throw, something that makes it clear whose side you're on. Freshman year everything feels new and a little overwhelming. A few familiar things on the walls help more than you'd think.
One More Thing
If you're a freshman, you might not know about Ring Day yet. You will. It's the most celebrated tradition at Texas A&M, the day you earn your Aggie Ring after you BTHO 90 hours. Right now it feels far away.
It goes fast. Enjoy where you are.
